COVID-19 Update 1/4/2022
As we work to operationalize visitation, infection prevention and infection control the prevalence of Omnicron variant throughout our region has initiated enhanced safety and protection protocols. With Butler County’s PCR rate climbing to an alarming rate of 23.2% please limit visits to essential only while we monitor the surge.  Full immunization and the booster vaccine is the safest and most effective way to protect your loved one and will help staff ensure our residents continue to receive the care they need.

COVID-19 Update 3/22/2021

With an abundance of caution we are working towards visits beyond the visitation room as we cautiously watch the county positive numbers climb and as we have a few new guests awaiting their booster vaccine. Visitation room and outdoors are preferred as the safest for your loved one and our team of caregivers. If visitors have received both vaccinations we will rearrange the visitation room for a more open and heartfelt reunion experience in the interim. We are anxiously awaiting replacement pieces for our outdoor canopy/carport damaged during a strong wind gust last fall. Visits in common areas such as the main dining rooms, TV lounges and activity areas as well as other resident rooms remain excluded. Please continue to use the scheduling link or call and ask to speak with a member of guest services 724-352-2827 during normal business hours to assist with scheduling. Screenings, good hand hygiene, face masks and social distancing area a must to keep everyone as safe as possible. We appreciate everyone's support and patience as we navigate these unprecedented times.

Magnolia Place of Saxonburg Letter to Resident and Family Members 3/17/2021

- - - -

We are proud to be COVID-19 free. Since late February Magnolia Place of Saxonburg has been working to ensure that we are prepared for COVID-19 by closely monitoring and preparing for any changes that may impact us in the days and weeks ahead as coronavirus 2019 continues to make national news and our top priorities remain the health and safety of our residents and staff.

Magnolia Place of Saxonburg conducts daily symptom screening for all residents and staff and visitors remain restricted except essential personnel.  Universal masking of all persons (staff members) is required upon entering the community and considered part of our daily uniform.  As a layered approach to infection prevention and mitigation strategies, all residents utilize masks as “my mask protects you; your mask protects me”.  Daily cleaning and sanitizing labors continue by our dedicated team in addition to third party disinfecting and sanitizing efforts to all high-touch areas every few weeks.

Though communal activities, group dining and in-person visits from loved ones, family and friends have been temporarily altered, door dates and door deliveries, and alternative methods of visitation such as Skype and FaceTime have become popular.

Magnolia Place of Saxonburg salutes our entire team of caregivers and support staff who have not wavered in their support of our residents we serve.  Our team appreciates the support of our ownership and encouraging words and heartfelt generosity shown to us by our residents and families and the community we serve.

If you have questions, please feel free to call (724) 352-2827 or send us an email.
